Forza Horizon 4 is a popular racing game with houses, UK-specific cars, and varied locations. Forza Horizon 5 is a new game with new features, such as Forza Link assistant, Forza Link assistant, and ray-tracing technology. However, Horizon 4 has more houses, more UK-specific cars, more cars, and more graphical fidelity.
Feeling more and more disappointed with cars added to Forza Horizon 5 lately, I’ve decided to look back and check why Forza Horizon 4 seemed so much better on that field. I’ve made a comparison of cars added to both games during the first year after their launches, i.e. up to Series 14 in both FH5 and FH4. Let’s look at some numbers:

Horizon 4 looks to have much better rally roads, but also much better asphalt roads. Quality over quantity imo. I mean with how games progress, the map should be more than 4 square miles bigger than FH3, and have more roads. This is a step down from a 2 year old game, even if there are seasons. Good job doing the math.
There is some Forza horizon 5 tracks that are better than grid legends tracks. Grid legends have better handling than Forza Horizon 5 but Forza Horizon 5 has a better physics engine. On average you can expect about 60% of the fun of the game with one playing Grid Legends, however, it is up to the player to decide which is more fun.
4 is WAAAAAY better than 5. My gaming friends played through both, and we ran into a lot of stupid glitches in Horizon 5. Forza Horizon 5 is a total re-skin of 4 that adds nothing new but does some of the existing stuff worse.
